A house full of laugther and happiness

We woke up to a beautiful sunny day and i knew the day was going to be a good one.
So before everyone was downstairs i got on and baked like a mad woman lol rustling up some tiny treats for Daisy's playgroup, it's a thing all the mummies seem to do on birthdays. Bring in goodies for the whole group. And mine was these tiny cinnamon hearts with icing and 100's & 1000's.

Easter iced chicks with eggy bums lol that sounds icky but you can see what i mean hehe!
And chocolate fudge iced bunnies. Looking at them now i should of put white and pink marshmallow's on as their fluffy tails. (note to self do this next time!).
Daisy came down to find lots of presents waiting for her and the 2 caterpillar cakes, she'd asked for. Better photos feather down.

She got a few new tops, DVD's, money and vouchers. Oh and Molly got her the cutest bag from Monsoon. A yellow chick, it looks very much handmade. Photos of that soon.

A very lucky little flower indeed. One of her favourite gifts is this hoody top we got her, well she choose it herself really. LOL only just 3 and picking out her own clothes already. Argh! and so it begins.
Daisy went off to playgroup a happy little bunny and slept soundly that night. Dreaming of the next days big party. She woke up to find that her big sister Jade had been picked up and had brought with her her best friend Charlotte. Daisy is just crazy about her and was very excited, isn't it funny how they know who they like even at such a young age. Little Granny also came over for the party and joined in all the fun.

Saturday morning saw us all getting ready for the party, photos of the cake taken, in better light. Meet miss caterpillar. She sparkly and tastes like jam and vanilla.

And Mr caterpillar, he's full of chocolate and fudge. Yum, yum.
I loved making these, they are sooo sweet. I truly found it hard to cut them for the guests lol

Party food done and on the table. And Daisy and Molly's friends began to arrive.

And because unlike Friday's sunniness Saturday turned wet and a little to grey and cold for an outside Easter egg hunt, so we made the best of it and turned this basket into a Easter egg dip. Which went down very well.
The sun shone for a little while when this game started and put bigger smile on little faces.

Dig deep Daisy there is an egg and chick in there somewhere lol

After everyone had found some Easter goodies, there was still time for some singing and dancing.
And then some cuddles under the table lol I just had to share this with you. On the far left of the photo you can see our Molly and the little sweetie in the red T-shirt is Barnaby her boyfriend awww so cute i could just melt.

Anyway after games, food, singing, dancing, presents, cake, cuddles and lots of photos, it was a fabulous party. One i hope Daisy remembers forever. Because i know we will. Love you little girl x
Thank you for all the birthday wishes, I've read each and everyone out to her. And she says thank you. X
More thank yous coming as I've got my lovely heart swap packets to share with you all.
Hugs for now and sweet dreams, wow how did it get that late?

Happy Mothers Day i know it's early.

To my mummy wishing you a very happy mothers day on Sunday, it's a little early because we're visiting family in Cheltenham and i didn't want to miss doing you a special blog. Sorry the photo's so old, nearly a year old in fact. April last year for your 60th was the last time i had a mum cuddle.

Sending you a very big hug across the sea and into your arms in Ireland.

Look at my mum wasn't she beautiful, i want to look this look on my wedding day. I think she looked amazing and still does. To me you are just mum and never get any older and your love it just grows stronger each day.

Inside this very special box tied with string and handmade tag with little old me on it was something, I'd baked for her ad had everything crossed that Mr Postman got it to her in one piece.
And he did. 6 yummy lavender and lemon lilac iced cupcakes. I know she's nearly eaten them all because i said open them as soon as they arrive, so i know they're safe and sound and she's let dad have only one bite lol well they are a mummies day present hehe!

Love you Mum hope to see you very soon.
And to all of you other mum's have a wonderful day.

Red Noses All Round lol

Wow well done to everyone that dug into their pockets, wallets and purses you help raise an amazing record breaking £59,187,065. Now that's going to change some life's, weather it's here or Africa. It shows that we can make a difference.

Because of this i will be leaving the date open for the white and dotty red pegs until the end of April and for every pack sold, I'll donate £1.10 to comic relief. Because my passion is for getting all those families covered and safe from Mozzies with the nets, we can't wipe out Malaria, not yet! but we can stop it from killing so many.

In the cupcake house we enjoyed watching the fun and joined in. It was good to see the lighter side and find out first hand how Red Nose Day really does help. Thank you for all your lovely kind messages of support and to those of you that have picked up a pack of red dotty pegs.
We did something funny for money x x x
On to Saturday, Jade and i went off to the Country Living fair in London, no photos Mr Ben took it with him because he had much nicer photos to take than us lol

Just look at these cuties awww it was lambing weekend at the Hadlow farming collage and the cupcakes loved it. Cute fluffy lambs, chicks, goats and even bunnies. SO many awww's i could run out of w's lol

My fabulous little Granny was also there helping out on a RSPCA stall run by my uncle. She is nearly 100% now after her spell in hospital and nurses at home treatment. The abscess is nearly gone and she'll be fighting fit for Daisy's Easter birthday party at the the end of this month yeay!
She truly thanks you all for the lovely kind comments you left for her to read. That, the wonderful nurses, us and the rest of the family have got her through everyday and back to her bouncy 88 year old self. Love you Granny x
More fun on the farm but this time on the pay as you ride sort of animal lol Daisy looks so sweet on that deer, it reminds me of the ones we used to have on top of our Christmas cake.

And Molly's horse is smiling nearly as much as she is lol
Well Daddy for giving the cupcakes a fabulous day out, it's one they will remember forever.
Jade and i had a lovely time in London, not getting back so late this time and with money still in our purses.
A few little bits where bought but nothing to break the bank lol sigh! from Ben in the back ground lol
I'll share with you sometime in the week our little Easter treats from the show. I don't think it was as good this year. But i did get to see and smell the wonderful David Austin roses, I'd like as our wedding flowers, wow
I hope you all had a nice weekend and the sun shone for you.
Also has everyone got in contact with their heart swap partners? any problems just email me and I'll see if i can help. Happy swapping.

Lets all make a differance

For every pack of white and red dotty pegs i sell on the 13th to the 15th March, I'll donate £1 of the money to Comic Relief.
They do look a little like red noses don't they and have a number of fab uses, children's pictures, cards, washing, shopping lists and notes etc... it's such a wonderful course and we can all make a difference, especially helping with the mozzy nets, such a small thing can change the life's of so many.
Thank you for listening, now come on go buy a pack x x x

A extra big thank you to all you wonderful ladies that are taking part in my heart swap, click here for your pairs, if you haven't already. Good luck with all the crafting and making, I'm looking forward to seeing what lovely things get sent.
Have a fab weekend, I'm of to the Country Living Fair in London with Jade on Saturday, can't wait. It's a real fun day, just the 2 of us.
