A house full of laugther and happiness

We woke up to a beautiful sunny day and i knew the day was going to be a good one.
So before everyone was downstairs i got on and baked like a mad woman lol rustling up some tiny treats for Daisy's playgroup, it's a thing all the mummies seem to do on birthdays. Bring in goodies for the whole group. And mine was these tiny cinnamon hearts with icing and 100's & 1000's.

Easter iced chicks with eggy bums lol that sounds icky but you can see what i mean hehe!
And chocolate fudge iced bunnies. Looking at them now i should of put white and pink marshmallow's on as their fluffy tails. (note to self do this next time!).
Daisy came down to find lots of presents waiting for her and the 2 caterpillar cakes, she'd asked for. Better photos feather down.

She got a few new tops, DVD's, money and vouchers. Oh and Molly got her the cutest bag from Monsoon. A yellow chick, it looks very much handmade. Photos of that soon.

A very lucky little flower indeed. One of her favourite gifts is this hoody top we got her, well she choose it herself really. LOL only just 3 and picking out her own clothes already. Argh! and so it begins.
Daisy went off to playgroup a happy little bunny and slept soundly that night. Dreaming of the next days big party. She woke up to find that her big sister Jade had been picked up and had brought with her her best friend Charlotte. Daisy is just crazy about her and was very excited, isn't it funny how they know who they like even at such a young age. Little Granny also came over for the party and joined in all the fun.

Saturday morning saw us all getting ready for the party, photos of the cake taken, in better light. Meet miss caterpillar. She sparkly and tastes like jam and vanilla.

And Mr caterpillar, he's full of chocolate and fudge. Yum, yum.
I loved making these, they are sooo sweet. I truly found it hard to cut them for the guests lol

Party food done and on the table. And Daisy and Molly's friends began to arrive.

And because unlike Friday's sunniness Saturday turned wet and a little to grey and cold for an outside Easter egg hunt, so we made the best of it and turned this basket into a Easter egg dip. Which went down very well.
The sun shone for a little while when this game started and put bigger smile on little faces.

Dig deep Daisy there is an egg and chick in there somewhere lol

After everyone had found some Easter goodies, there was still time for some singing and dancing.
And then some cuddles under the table lol I just had to share this with you. On the far left of the photo you can see our Molly and the little sweetie in the red T-shirt is Barnaby her boyfriend awww so cute i could just melt.

Anyway after games, food, singing, dancing, presents, cake, cuddles and lots of photos, it was a fabulous party. One i hope Daisy remembers forever. Because i know we will. Love you little girl x
Thank you for all the birthday wishes, I've read each and everyone out to her. And she says thank you. X
More thank yous coming as I've got my lovely heart swap packets to share with you all.
Hugs for now and sweet dreams, wow how did it get that late?

What a wonderful birthday. I really love your cakes, and feel perhaps my daughter and your daughter have LOADS in common - she too knows exactly what and who she likes LOL. What little cuties, and so much fun at the party!

Looks like she had a great time!
It's so nice to see someone else do parties at home. Where we live it seems that everyone (parents not children) is in competition to see who can have the most extravagent party. I've always refused to give in to it, you can't beat a good old fashioned party at home.
Enjoy the rest of your week
((hugs))

Happy Birthday to Daisy, she is adorable!! Your piccies always look so cheerful and pretty!
I hope you dont mind but we have a new kitten and we have named her Daisy! It came to me the other day and I thought 'oh no I have named her after Catherines little girl' its the only name we could all agree on and she is pure white so the name really suits her, when she is a big girl she will have a yellow collar and will be a proper Daisy!! She is gorgeous just like your little Daisy!!
Have a lovely day

looks like a good time was had by all, and what a good mummy cupcake you are baking biscuits. I'm always making excuses why I shouldn't bake them today. I need a simple foolproof reipe that doesn't take ingredients that no one has ever heard of. Any ideas
