Lifes just come crashing down...

A bomb shell has been dropped into the cupcakes house this week one that I am still in shock over. 2 months notice is all i can say right now because I'm to upset, cross and shocked by it all. On top of that my lovely step Daddy and Mummy have been told that he has got alzheimer's. This is just something i have to deal with because it's out of all our control. And i need to be strong for my Mummy. But to be truthful I'm numb and don't really know what to do for the best. Keep calm and carry on and has my Nana used to say one door closes and another one opens.
So please forgive me in having a short break for a while and sorry to all of you that have entered my giveaway. I will just leave it open for anyone that wants to pop on to the post and join in. Just click on the word post to enter.

I do have the best man, cupcakes big and small, Mummy and Daddy, Granny and the best of friends for support.
And am so busy with work, it's helping me. I'm also off to the Maidstone farmers market/craft fair tomorrow so if anyone is around please come and say hello. A hug or 2 would be greatly received too.

Have a good weekend and I'll see you soon.

Love,

Catherine xxx

Ooooh Catherine, consider yourself virtually hugged. Hope that you have a great market in Maidstone and that life picks up again soon.

Take care and enjoy your man, the little cupcakes and the rest of your support system.

So sorry that you are having to deal with such hard things...I wish it were not so..you spread so much cheer and your zest for life and the love of your family encourage those of us who read your blog..now it's our turn to encourage and cheer you. "This too will pass" is a good thought to remember...you will make it through, it's not the end, only a detour...a bend in the road. Hang in there.

I live in the states and I love all things British..and always look forward to reading your blog...I will look forward to your return.

Hi Catherine, I'm sorry this message gets to you so late but I was just doing some blog catching up, I just wanted to say best of luck with everything, sounds like you're having a tough time of it at the mo. Life can be so utterly pants sometimes.. try to stay positive as it's the only way we got through all our bad times and all the 'why us's?', everything happens for a reason even though we don't see it at the time, it may all become clear in the end. Sorry too about your step dads illness, that's very sad news xxx
