And the winners are?.....

First one out of the fabric box chosen by the lovely Miss Molly cupcake herself is......
Pink Green
And the runner up out of the box chosen by the sweetest Daisy flower is....

My Life and Other Beads
Very well done to Cathy and Kathy (how odd is that the girls choose two lovely ladies with the same name) spooky lol Drop me an email with your addresses please and I'll get your gifts off to you in the post. I know I said I'd pop a photo on here of what I'll be giving away but I'm so behind with things that I never got around to it (sorry ladies). It will be something very nice though I promise x

Thank you to everyone that took part in my little giveaway and sharing your favourite cupcake frosting/icing. It seems that lemon and chocolate are the most yummiest followed by good old butter icing. Ok now I'm hungry, off to get a coffee and piece of fruit. Yes I've started watching what I'm eating again as I've jumped to just over 10 stone and am feeling the extra weight :( it's surprising how that bit extra makes you feel so bad. And it's all on my tummy argh! the worst place to put it. But I'm not going to let it beat me, no,no! I will get back to my old self soon. And before Ben's Christmas work dinner, I want out look gorgeous for that, as it will be the first I've gone too since we've been together. Wish me luck. Anyone got a magic wand?
Many hugs.

We love you grandma come back soon

Last week Ben's Mum came to stay for a few days, Molly and I went to London on the Sunday to the Pulse trade show in Earls court, (great time with Molly she's now my number one sales rep lol). Anyway after finishing there we met up with Viv (that's Grandma) at Victoria Station and brought her home. And the girls took full advantage of having her here with lots of fun and singing games.

Luckily for us Ben had booked the next day off work and took us all down to a very drizzly Hastings. It didn't stop us having fun and the drizzle wasn't all the time.
Grandma didn't care about a bit of grey and damp skies, she was just happy to be with us at the seaside and enjoy sometime with the girls, Ben, myself and eat fish and chips yummy!

Which we did as soon as we got there and yummy double cod and chips for me and Viv and sausage and chips for Ben and the girls.

Bellies full we went off to the old town for a look around the fab shops there, sadly one of the really good ones with vintage china, eiderdowns, buttons etc... was closed on Mondays, a huge sigh was let out by me. As I spied lots of loveliness through the windows. Hey ho there is always next time. (Pretty please Ben x).

This little treasure was also closed. But I got a great photo and the opening times for future visits. Made in Hastings was open for business and I popped in with the girls to say hello. I'll be selling some of my very own in there over the next month or so. Exclusive ice-cream pegs and a couple of one offs. I had to put it all on hold last year as the little biz went full throttle and I really needed to grow another pair of hands to keep up with it all lol (anyone know a recipe? hehe!)
More news on when you can see in items in there coming soon, (can you tell I'm excited!).
And Molly is too, she just had to get in the photo and had great fun inside the shop, lots of pretty things to look and play with.

After doing the all the fabulous antique and junks shops in the old town, stopping at a great little place called Roberts Rummage. Floor to ceiling with everything you could think of. I bought some buttons and wooden cotton reels and could of stayed in there for hours lol but I didn't I had the family outside to think of and was only in there for a short while. This is definitely one I'll be coming back too. Bless the owner Robert he's just like someones old grandad a real sweetie.

Thank you lovely family for letting me indulge in my weakness of rummage shops. Now for fun by the sea. We spent ages just walking along the seafront and throwing pebbles in the sea. all the fishing boats behind us had been out and there was the left overs all up the beach, sting rays, cat fish, a few shrimp and lots and lots of crabs. All of which Daisy was scared of and ran screaming when she saw one lol

Molly on the other hand was very inquisitive and ooow and arrr's came from her, she even prodded and poked some of them (the crabs that is not the stinky fish). Yuk!

Down by the sea you can see how ruff is was but thankfully it wasn't cold. Very mild indeed just damp. And we made the most it.
Daisy thought about having a peddle but changed her mind when this came crashing towards her lol Run Daisy, run! Look how happy she is, just like her me as a little girl. Happiest on the beach.

So after a lovely one day we set off home all tuckered out and sleepy. Back home for a nice bit of tea and girls off to bed. Viv said off you both go then and have some couple time, this Grandma wants to babysit. So we popped out just to Bluewater and where I got some lovely new fabrics and pins from John Lewis, Ben picked some milk and razor's then on the way back a naughty McDonald's yum! Not the most romantic time but nice to have a little time together. Thanks Viv we all enjoyed your visit, we're come to you next in Cheltenham and raid Grandmas house lol

Don't forgot tomorrow is the last day of my one year anniversary giveaway, so pop on to the post and leave your comment and favourite flavour cupcake frosting/icing. Lemon seems to be winning at the moment, it's very popular. Our girls will pick out a winner on Wednesday afternoon. Good luck everyone and thanks for leaving all your lovely birthday wishes for my Daddy. He's very touched by your kindness.

Many hugs.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD X

Today is my Dad's 76th birthday and we're sending him a big hug and kiss from England all the way to Ireland X

Enjoy a yummy cake or two and have a lovely birthday dinner out with Mum. The girls have started celebrating with you and are tucking into their cupcakes lol
Here is his Grandad card made by little old me, I wanted to do something a bit different for him and sewed the word Grandad on and used lots of pretty green fabrics for the tea cup. My Dad loves his tea and why not "Tea makes everything better" and he does make the best cuppa. He is so sweet and even makes me my decaf cuppa, when we visit (I know I'm a pain hehe!).
Thank you Dad for understanding my funny little tastes.

This photo was taken a few years ago and makes me smile every time I look at it. Dad has a smile that makes everything feel better again. Love you lots Dad and even though I'm miles away my heart is with you today and always. You are in my thoughts.
Birthday wishes from all of us. XXX

Don't forget my giveaway running until next Wednesday, just leave your comment and tell me what's your favourite flavour of cupcake frosting/icing. Good luck.

Hugs.

One Year Old Today x

Happy 1st blogging year to me!
Wow has it really been one whole year already? And it's Happy 2 years birthday for Mollycupcakes too.
So I'm celebrating with a yummy cake.
I'd like to thank each and everyone of you that read my ramblings and come back again and again. I have made some fabulous friends on here and learnt so much, it's so nice to have the support and care of you all. Just knowing you're there to listen means so very much. Big kiss X
And those of you that I'm lucky enough to meet in person and knew already on here before blogging, I'm so pleased that we can keep in contact via this wonderful blog world, it's like we're only next door to one another even though we're miles apart (you know who you are!).

Please keep leaving your kind comments and emails, I do read all of them and will get back to you as soon as they come in.
I love reading all your gorgeous blogs, commenting and looking into the windows of your lovely crafty and interesting lives. Although I do lose a few hours each day because I have so many favourites to read lol but it's a great excuse for a long coffee break in between painting pegs and now sewing cupcakes together. hehe!

Right now on to some fun stuff, as tradition goes in blog land we all celebrate such posts with a giveaway and I'm going to to do just that.
And these 2 little cupcakes below will be pulling the winner out of something (not sure what just yet lol).
I'll get some goodies together for the prize and photo them tomorrow.
Ok now for the question, (just for fun). Whats your favourite flavour cupcake frosting/icing?
Mines chocolate or coconut.

I'll get the girls to do the draw next Wednesday, so leave your comment and answer on any of the posts between now and then. Good luck.

Hugs.

Fun at Badgers Hill Farm & Cidery...

What to do on a lovely sunny Sunday? was the big question on all our lips and after lots of thinking and google searching we drove off to the fabulous Badgers Hill Farm. It took a little while to find it lol as the good old British country lanes didn't have many signs to go by. But we got there in the end.

It's well worth a visit, it is great for the family or just a couples wanting to enjoy a nice country meal.

Molly and Daisy loved the goats. And Molly tired very hard to get this one to eat her daddies celery but he wasn't having any of it lol And ate her tissue instead hehe! so you see goats won't eat anything and everything this one was very fussy.
As you can imagine I was in Mummy heaven with all the chickens running around free and we read this sign after we'd ordered our food lol
Ben's ploughman's was fit for a king and he managed to eat most of it.
With a little help from this little friend. I'll pop the video of it eating whats left over on another post. the greedy thing even ate the large chunk of butter yuk! silly bird lol
There was cute chickens everywhere and you can buy some proper feed for them if you like but it was fun watching them all try and have ago at the left overs. Flaming charncers lol
Myself, Jade and the girls enjoyed a yummy cream tea with clotted cream and real strawberry jam and Jade's sandwich was huge and came with a range of chutneys (which she just had to try all of them). "It's rude not to Mum" was what she said when she spotted us watching her spoon out some from every pot. lol
Here is my favourite chick, she was so friendly and a real poser lol Ben had to double check I hadn't sunk her into my bag on the way home as I'd fallen in love with her, especially when she let me give her a stroke. (I think I'd like to come back as a free range egg laying chick) and live on some old ladies cottage garden and I'd have to be called Flossie or cup lol

As well as chickens galore and goats there where a few other lovely animals to look at including this handsome fellow. Want a kiss?

And adorable donkey's, ducks and emu's.
We stroked and loved the donkey's then read the sign lol oh well they where very friendly and no biting went on, I guess they only bite people they don't like the look of hehe! and we must of smelt nice and friendly.
We spent the whole afternoon there right up until closing time, just eating, enjoying the animals, little garden nursery and shop with all homemade food and gifts then finishing off with a walk around the meadow and play on the slide for the girls. Leaving with some yummy chutney, pink lemonade, lollies and wooden egg sign for the kitchen. (No chickens stashed wink, wink lol) we set off for home, bellies full and lungs filled with good clean country air. The perfect end to a lovely sunny Sunday. Checkout how to get there on this website:

Big kiss from all of us and hope you have a lovely week.
X
Hugs.
